The reason why some parts of Naborn (Roodepan) are without electricity, there was another hit at Camelia substation which was also vandalised.
Electricians have been notified, and unfortunately the area will be without power until electricians have assessed the extend of the damage.

The electricians are concluding the last part of repairs, the damages incurred were huge, and this caused a huge setback financially and in terms of resources. We therefore also plea with residents to look after Municipal infrastructure, and to report any suspicious activities to the nearest law enforcement agency.

Roodepan Switch House No 2 was vandalised early this morning. Some areas that were affected by this are Lethabo Park, Lerato Park, Western part of Roodepan, White City.
The electricians are on site and are doing the best to conclude repairs.
