Herlear and Belgravia Power Outage
The electricians have been busy and hard at work to restore power in the Herlear area, but they have detected that there’s a cable fault at Auto Pedigree in Du Toitspan Rd, but electricians are on site repairing the fault.

Parts of CBD experiencing power outage due to MV cable faults between Hall Str and Hospital Str Substations. MV cable fault between Hall Str and Bultfontein Rd Substations. Electrical teams are currently busy repairing both cables.

There are 2 x 11kV cable faults affecting the city area being supplied from Hall str. Substation. These faults are on a “ring feed” so there is no way to feed the supply back. One of the faults will have to be repaired before the supply can be restored. The electricians are hard at work on the faults affecting the city and Cassandra.

Olympia Substation Cable Fault
Belgravia area including Cassandra is experiencing power outage due to a MV cable fault. Our electrical team is attending to the failure.

There is currently a widespread power outage in many suburbs including Cassandra, Belgravia, Memorial Road Area and possibly other surrounding areas. This is apparently due to cable theft in Samaria Road. Sol Plaatje Electricians are working on the issue.
