Eskom to continue implementing Stage 2 loadshedding today, 2 September 2020, from 08:00 until 22:00 as power system is still severely constrained.
On Stage 2 loadshedding two hour long rolling blackouts are introduced according to the Stage 2 Schedule.

REPAIRS COMPLETED
Kindly be advised that our repairs on the 965mm Pipeline has been completed just now, including the installation of the T-piece at Newton Reservoir for the university already yesterday. We are currently opening up the valves on the supply lines from Riverton Purification plant. Newton Reservoir will be started up, all this in a synchronised manner. Please be patient because it will take a little of time before water reaches some of the areas in the city. We thank you for your patience.
