The Municipality’s Waterworks section has been working on repairing a massive burst pipe in Du Toitspan Rd (in front of Medi Clinic) since this morning. In order to repair the burst pipe, we will have to switch off Newton Reservoir for a short period to allow waterworks to effect repairs. Once repairs are complete, water will be restored to affected areas.
Residents that are being directly fed from the Newton Reservoir will notice low pressure to no water from their taps.
