UPDATE: 17 October 2025 – 11:20
While excavating across the road between Swartberg and Cathkinpeak, the construction company hit an unmarked 200mm water pipe.
This is the reason for little to no water pressure in parts of Carters Glen.
The matter has been reported to the municipality.
