WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION: REPAIR WORKS ON 250MM STEEL PIPE – TRANSVAAL ROAD, AFFECTING UTILITY
The Sol Plaatje Municipality sincerely apologises for the delay in the repair works of the 250mm steel pipe in Transvaal Road.
The repairs have taken longer than anticipated due to the deteriorated condition of the old infrastructure. Several repair attempts were made, but unfortunately failed at later stages. As a result, an urgent pipe replacement was required to ensure sustainable and reliable water supply.
Our Waterworks team is on-site to carry out the replacement, and water supply is expected to be restored by approximately 17:00 today.
