TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – VARIOUS PARTS OF KIMBERLEY
The municipality wants to inform residents that repairs to the pipe at the Newton Reservoir will not continue today. The plant will therefore not be switched off this evening, and the water supply will remain uninterrupted.
An update will be issued later this week to inform residents of when the Newton plant will be switched off to complete the necessary repairs.

ALERT: TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – VARIOUS PARTS OF KIMBERLEY
Cause: Leak in the pipe feeding the tower at Newton Reservoir.
The municipality regrets to inform residents of a leak in the pipe feeding the tower at the Newton Reservoir. As a result, the reservoir had to be switched off. The reservoir has been switched on again temporarily to restore water supply until this afternoon.
An update will be issued later today to inform residents of when the reservoir will be switched off again, allowing the boilermaker to complete repairs to the leaking pipe.
