UPDATE: 18 September 2025 – 06:30
Good morning, Residents
Late last night, there was a burst on the 600 mm at the intersection of Micheal and Carters in Rhodesdene, as reported on the Rhodesdene group.
I, as well as the councilor for Ward 20, Belinda Moses, were on site until early this morning while Waterworks attempted to stop the flow using nearby valves.
Unfortunately, this was not possible, and Newton Reservoir has been turned off to allow the site to drain.
Regards
Cllr Chris Whittaker
Ward 24
