Afternoon & Nightly Water Interruptions – UPDATE

The Sol Plaatje Municipality hereby announces water restrictions starting Wednesday 11 December 2024 at 21H00.
Re-Introduction of Daytime Water Supply Interruption
Faced with the current high temperatures and the related challenges explained above, the interruptions will be effected as follows:
Daytime: 12:00 to 17:00
Nightly: 21:00 to 04:00
SMART PREPAID ELECTRICITY METER ROLL-OUT

Sol Plaatje Local Municipality is the proud beneficiary of a National Treasury grant that will enable the roll-out of smart prepaid electricity meters. The grant will enable the Municipality to continue with its modernisation project. Through this Project the municipality will roll-out prepaid smart electricity meters in various areas.

TODAY IS WRIGHT BROTHERS DAY
One important day that changed the world was the day when a man was able to fly through the air in the style of a bird! Not only was this unprecedented, but it set the stage for a whole host of other ideas and inventions that have contributed to the advancement of technology as well as the adventure into space. The airplane has certainly made the globe a much smaller, more accessible place for humans.
