The Sol Plaatje Municipality would like to update the residents about the reintroduction of the Daytime Water Supply Interruption during the week as a result of heatwaves and the low levels at Newton Reservoirs. Daytime Water Supply Interruption from 12h00 – 17h00, 21-25 Feb 2024. The Nightly Water Supply Interruption stays in effect from 20h00 to 05h00.

Give the bartender a smile and say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ – the bartender will appreciate it and you are more likely to get better service next time you buy a drink. Most importantly, if you’re in a country where tipping is expected, make sure you tip appropriately!
