Current dam levels are increasing, so no Nightly Shutdown is envisaged. Repairs are also being done on major pipe bursts. If anything changes, we will keep all updated.

COVID-19 INFO
As of today, (11 Dec 2020), a cumulative total of 845 083 COVID-19 cases have been reported with 8 319 new cases identified since the last report.
A cumulative total of 5 779 544 tests have been completed with 44 074 new tests conducted since the last report.
Regrettably, 205 more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 96, Free State 10, Gauteng 20, Kwa-Zulu Natal 20, Limpopo 2, Northern Cape 15 and Western Cape 42.
This brings the total deaths to 22 952.
We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health workers that treated the deceased.
Our recoveries now stand at 758 373.
NORTHERN CAPE COVID-19 STATISTICS AS AT 11 DECEMBER 2020
The Minister of Health announced an additional 59 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the Northern Cape, bringing the cumulative total to 23 636 people.
Sadly, today we report 15 new COVID-19 related deaths: 14 from ZF Mgcawu and 1 from John Taolo Gaetsewe. With today’s update, the Province cumulative deaths due to COVID-19 complications increases to 348. The deaths reported here today are as a result of reporting delays from previous months (3 from August, 6 from October and 6 from November 2020).
We send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of the departed.
The number of recoveries stands at 21 085 with recovery rate remaining at 89%.
