No current loadshedding.
As in previous occasions, should anything change regarding the grid, loadshedding could be implemented at short notice.
💧‼️ CURRENT WATER STATUS: ‼️💧
In a media release by Executive Mayor Patrick Mabilo, it was mentioned that the water supply will be interrupted in low lying areas at 18h00 till 05h00 whilst high lying areas will be interrupted at 20h00 to 05h00. Residents should however still use water sparingly otherwise the water situation will not return to normal and also to prevent possible earlier shutoff at Newton Reservoir if the need arises.

TODAY IS WEDDING PLANNING DAY
There’s nothing quite so mind-destroying as planning your special day. Many people dream of their wedding days their whole life, but it’s rare that they imagine all of the details that go into making their wedding day happen. Sure, first you have to find that special someone, but then there’s the guest lists, the invitations, the overall madness that comes with trying to plan an event where two families are going to come together. Wedding Planning Day is your firing gun to start planning your wedding as early as possible, to take the stress off.
How to celebrate Wedding Planning Day
It all starts with sitting down and making a solid plan. A lot of people only imagine the beautiful wedding they’re going to have, but they have very little concept of what it will take for them to get that beautiful wedding organized. Once you’ve got an idea of what you want, it’s time to start breaking it down into its composite parts, including deciding how you’re going to handle invitations, getting a list of all the food allergies of all your guests, selecting wedding colors, and much more. If it’s within your means, it’s best to get yourself a wedding planner who knows their way around events like this to get everything put together. Don’t let your big day get ruined by a ball of stress, use Wedding Planning Day to get it moving.
