Kimberley Water Supply UPDATE – 7 Sept 2023
UPDATE: 7 September 2023 – 15:33
Good afternoon, Residents
The reservoir is currently running on one pump. This means water pressure will be low, and some of the areas further away from the reservoir will experience little to no water pressure during peak times.
The staff at the reservoir will be switching on a second pump in the next few minutes and this should improve water pressure and supply.
Regards
Chris Whittaker

UPDATE: 6 September 2023 – 11:43
We have completed repairs on the 900mm manifold in Riverton. We have started pumping, which means areas like Roodepan and parts of Galeshewe that are directly fed from Riverton have started getting water.
Residents that are fed from Newton (Town areas) will experience low pressure as we are still running with only one pump. More updates will follow.
We regret the inconvenience.
