Video footage and photographs of an intruder caught on CCTV in Belgravia, Kimberley.
The footage was captured at 06:45 on Monday, 29 January 2018 at the Blanckenberg residence when an intruder hidden in the yard was confronted by one of the residents.
Karen Blanckenberg posted on Facebook “Please be on the lookout for this terrible human! Monday morning he entered our property at about 06:45, found a spot to hide and waited for my husband to leave for work. By grace alone his eye caught sight of the unwanted visitor while driving out the property. He confronted the guy, who turned out to be armed and fearless. He came after my husband and only fled once the alarm went off.”
