📍UPDATE: ELECTRICITY PURCHASING

The municipality hereby provides an update as follows:

* All municipal electricity purchasing points are back online ; and

* Banking Apps – Capitec, FNB, Standard Bank, and Nedbank are online.

Banks that are still experiencing challenges; Absa, Investec, and Discovery.

Our service provider is working on bringing the remaining banking Apps and vending outlets back online.

⚠️ALERT: ELECTRICITY PURCHASING OFFLINE AT OUTLETS AND BANKING APPS

The Sol Plaatje Municipality hereby informs residents that the prepaid electricity vending system is currently offline on banking Apps and at vending outlets.

The system provider has been alerted and is busy attending to the challenge at hand.

Clients will be informed once the system is back online.
