Kimberley Power Outage – New Park Area – 15/01/2018
UPDATE 15/01/2018 – 15:50: Electricity New Park and CBD
The High tension cable fault is the result of the current electricity supply interruption. The problem is being isolated and the areas affected will be ring fed from other areas. The approximate time for restoration of supply is 40 minutes. Please note that this will also affect water supply as Newton Reservoir is also off. The municipality regrets the inconvenience.

There is currently an electricity outage affecting parts of New Park and possibly nearby areas as well. Sol Plaatje are aware of the issue and have sent out the electricians to investigate. The outage is also affecting the water output for residents serviced by the Newton Reservoir with little to no water pressure in parts.
Areas Affected: Parts of New Park and possibly nearby areas too.
