The Municipality’s waterworks section is working on a huge burst pipe. We will have to switch off Newton Reservoir for a short period to allow waterworks to effect repairs.
Once repairs are complete, water will be restored to affected areas.
Residents that are being directly fed from the Newton Reservoir (CBD and suburbs) will notice low pressure to no water from their taps.
