Based on water outage reports near Newton Reservoir, it appears as though Newton Reservoir has been switched off. Only notice that was received was yesterday evening where a large pipe burst in Lawson Street necessitated the reservoir being switched off to effect repairs. As of now we have had no further communication as to what the actual issue with the water is today.
Many areas in Kimberley serviced by Newton Reservoir are experiencing little to no water pressure.
