The Municipality’s Waterworks Unit is attending to a burst pipe in Pullinger Street, Beaconsfield.
Impact: Low tap pressure to no-tap-flow in Beaconsfield.
Estimated Repair Work Operation: Three (3) hours
Estimated Restoration of Supply: 17:30

WATER SUPPLY RESTORED – KIMBERLEY NORTH, DE BEERS, AND PARTS OF THE CBD
Repair work has been completed on the 315mm steel pipe located in Phakamile Mabija Road, vicinity of Sammy’s, and water supply has been restored.
Line filling is in progress. Normal tap pressure is guaranteed in the next few hours.

WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION – KIMBERLEY NORTH, DE BEERS AND PARTS OF THE CBD
Source of Interruption: Burst 315mm pipe located in Phakamile Mabija Road, vicinity of Sammy’s.
Repair Work: Ongoing from last night. Welding an eroded steel pipe that needs to be dried for effective repair work.
