Kindly be informed that our Waterworks Section are currently conducting emergency repairs to a main supply-line from Riverton to Kimberley as of this morning Wednesday 22nd April 2015.
The emergency repairs are expected to be completed during the course of the day, while the emergency service will assist in providing water to the affected areas.
This will affect residents of Roodepan, Phutanang, Jacksonville, Lerato Park and all the nearby areas that receive water from the Main line and the Roodepan Tower, in some cases the water pressure will be low.
We are appealing to the residents to keep some water for use during the temporary interruption period. The municipality would like to apologise for the inconvenience to all the residents, businesses and all those that will be affected.
