Social media reports suggest that power has been restored to affected areas.

Many areas are currently affected by a power outage. At this stage we are unsure what the issue is as Sol Plaatje has not yet released any statement or info regarding it. The issue has been reported to Sol Plaatje.
Areas affected: Eltoro Park, Albertynshof, New Park, Hadison Park, Lindene, Rhodesdene and possibly other areas.
Time of Restoration: Unknown at this stage.
PLEASE NOTE: As some parts of New Park is also affected, the Newton Reservoir could also be off and residents will experience little to no water pressure.

Good morning, Residents
Some parts of Kimberley are without power from approximately 05:30 this morning.
It is not loadshedding.
The municipality says cables were stolen in McDougall Street.
They are working on it, but no time of completion can be provided.
