COVID-19 INFO
As of today (4 Oct 2020), the cumulative number of detected COVID-19 cases is 681 289.
The cumulative number of tests conducted to date is 4 269 626 with 18 113 new tests conducted since the last report.
Regrettably, we report 38 more COVID-19 related deaths: 37 from Gauteng, 1 from Western Cape. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 16 976.
We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the healthcare workers that treated the deceased patients.
Our recoveries now stand at 614 781 which translates to a recovery rate of 90%
NORTHERN CAPE COVID-19 STATISTICS AS AT 04 OCTOBER 2020
The Minister of Health announced an additional 338 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the Northern Cape, bringing the cumulative total to 17 746 people.
There are 4 people to be reallocated to other provinces. The number of recoveries currently stands at 14 710 which translates to a recovery rate of 83%.
