‘A legacy of unfinished business’

A legacy of unfinished business has been left for city residents by the outgoing Sol Plaatje City Council as disinterested councillors fail to arrive for meetings. With today being the last scheduled city council meeting before the new cohort of councillors are elected to lead the city on August 3, concern has been expressed that even this meeting might not take place unless a quorum of sufficient members arrive to meet the minimum requirements.
